BIOMASS HAMMER MILL
Particularly effective in the wood and biomass industry, the horizontal hammer mill has traditionally been used to reduce particle size during the grinding process. The level of crumbling of the biomasses depends on the type of mill used, on the size and shape of the grinding elements, as well as on their rotation speed and relative distance.
HAMMER MILL FOR BIOMASS: THE MOST USED
Among the different equipment available, those that are most used in the field of biomass treatment are hammer mills. This type of mill is, in general, used for the milling of raw materials with humidity not higher than 12-14%. Its working capacity can vary from 10 to 80 tons of biomass / hour depending on the size of the loading mouth. The powers used are between 75 and 250 kW.
BIOMASS HAMMER MILL BY PERUZZO
Hammer Mill for maize grinding to load silo for digestor biogas production. The flour output vary from flour size up to 40 tons / hour. Hammer mills by Peruzzo are designed to grind 35% humidity maize.
